Overview

These fun, soft pillow creatures are great for young and old alike. Fabrics & colors may vary. It started out innocently enough. Scientists at a top-secret pillow research laboratory were tasked with creating “the ultimate kid’s pillow.” It would be soft. It would be cute. It would render the possessor curiously giddy. The scientists began dangerously experimenting, where they cross-pollinated throw pillows with baby blankets and leg stockings. They spliced DNA from old sweaters and abandoned teddy bears, and wrapped comforter innards with beanbag skins. They tried everything and everything failed — horribly, magnificently. For reasons that remain unmentioned, the ill-fated project and lab were quietly shut down. The Kreechers were banished to a subterranean vault. However, a handful of mischievous mutants escaped through an air vent and stowed away atop a passing RV. Today, they live among us. Searching for real kids who will look past their twisted exterious and see them for what they were always meant to be: warm, fuzzy, lifelong friends.

I absolutely love this walker. We bought it for our daughter’s 1st birthday and she was up walking behind it two days later! She loves it and uses it everyday. We don’t need to walk right next to her like we had to with a simliar kind of toy. The other toy rolled too quickly for her walking pace. It got away from her too fast and she would end up falling down a lot. The rubber on the wheels of the giraffe walker prevent this from happening. It’s fantastic!! The shapes are a nice bonus too.

We just bought this for our 11-month old daughter and absolutely loves it. We have another wooden walker with the ducks that clack when pushed, but she never seemed to take to it and also would constantly fall with it (she once banged and cut her chin on it) because it moved too quickly. The fact that you can change and control the speed with this push toy is fantastic and she can easily push it over our hardwood floors as well as the area rugs. She loves putting her stuffed bear in the basket and now we can’t get her to stop wanting to push it around the entire house! It is a bit pricey, but well worth it in my opinion given the quality and how much our daughter enjoys it.

AMENDMENT: after a couple of days, the front right wheel started to fall off. For some reason, the push toy kept veering to the right and although we initially thought it was just the way our daughter was pushing it, we soon figured out it was because the wheel was falling off. The wheel then fell completely off and we couldn’t get it back on because the threads on the bolt appeared damaged. Returned it to Amazon and they sent a new replacement via 2-day shipping, so I applaud their responsiveness.

I got this as a gift..part of the gift is that my friends put it together for us! My daughter just loves this walker..how can I even call it a walker; it’s a runner for her! She does circles around the house. She puts her stuffed animals in it for a ride. I know it’s building up her legs to walk on her own and then she’ll be able to ride on this. This is by far her favorite toy out of the many, many toys in the house!
